BEFORE WE BEGIN

A clearer scope
starts with questions.

Explore common questions about sourcing, quotations, delivery, and responsibilities.

Can you source items outside kitchen and laundry equipment?
We can discuss specified business, operational, or project supply needs. The category, supplier availability, sourcing feasibility, and our role are reviewed before agreeing an engagement. Send the item list and intended use so we can assess the request.
Can you work with our preferred brand or existing supplier?
Yes, a preferred brand, model, or supplier can form part of the brief. If alternatives are considered, the relevant specifications and trade-offs are presented for your approval. Substitutions should be agreed before an order is placed.
Can we start without a complete technical specification?
We can begin by clarifying the intended use, capacity, operating conditions, site constraints, and budget. Technical details may need to be confirmed by the relevant manufacturer, supplier, designer, or qualified specialist before purchasing.
What will a supplier comparison include?
Where comparison is in scope, it may cover specification fit, quantities, quoted price, availability, lead time, delivery terms, installation scope, warranty information, and after-sales arrangements. We also identify exclusions and items that still need clarification.
Are you the seller, a sourcing adviser, or a procurement coordinator?
The role is agreed for each engagement. The proposal or quotation should identify who supplies the goods, who contracts with the supplier, and which sourcing, coordination, or delivery responsibilities Mosta undertakes.
Are installation, delivery, and warranty included?
Only when expressly included in the agreed quotation or scope. These terms vary by item and supplier. We help clarify delivery access, installation responsibilities, commissioning, warranty coverage, exclusions, and service contact arrangements before commitment.
How are fees, payments, and lead times agreed?
Commercial terms are set out in the proposal, quotation, or order documents. Product costs, service fees, delivery, installation, taxes, and other applicable charges are clarified where relevant. Availability and delivery dates require supplier confirmation.
Can you guarantee savings or the lowest price?
Our focus is on a suitable, clearly scoped purchase decision. Price is considered alongside suitability, operating requirements, support, and the agreed terms. We do not promise a fixed saving or the lowest market price.
